I'm glad you made it to the Lookout. This is where we seek God in prayer.
My king and my God, consider my every word, for I am calling out to you. At each and every sunrise you will hear my voice as I prepare my sacrifice of prayer to you. Every morning I lay out the pieces of my life on the altar and wait for your fire to fall upon my heart. - Psalm 5:2-3 (TPT)
This space is designed for intercessors, prayer warriors, sentries, royal priests, rulers, and children of the Most High God. Here we practice, share, and collaborate in prayer and intercession with each other.
Come look for the cloud the size of a hand, listen out for the still small voice, wait for the fire, decree the thing, rest under an open heaven, and believe that He is, that He has harkened unto us, and that His answer is "yes" and "amen".

Let us stand in the gap and pray.
I looked for someone to stand up for me against all this, to repair the defenses of the city [rebuild the wall of righteousness that guards the land], to take a stand for me and stand in the gap to protect [and advocate for] this land so I wouldn't have to destroy it. I couldn't find anyone. Not one. - Ezekiel 22:30 (MSG)
I've spoken with God for as long as I can remember. But only recently have I felt called to pray in a way that is much different: solution oriented, obedient, powerful, leveraging spiritual gifts, frequently, in support of the ecclesia, in solidarity with others.
Some time ago Ezekiel 23:30 called to me. I literally woke up thinking about "the gap". A quick online search of "the gap in the Bible" led me to this verse. It was convicting and compelling. I wanted to be that "one" who God was looking for.
And, of course, there is the story of Elijah kicking butt and taking names, sending his servant to keep watch for the cloud indicating the rain he prayed for was on the way. Oh yes, after reading that again, I wanted that kind of confidence and persistence in prayer too.
I craved time, eyes to see, a heart to know, and a space to share, pray, believe, and declare. It began to feel like the Holy Spirit's power was shut up in my bones. This is how and why The Art of the Lookout was created.
Keeping Watch
I will take my place at the watchtower. I will stand at my post and watch. I will watch and see what He says to me. I need to think about how I should respond to Him when He gets back to me with His answer. - Habakkuk 2:1 (VOICE)
From this Lookout I will post prayers, points of intercession, meditations, studies, and journal prompts rooted in scripture and inspired by what I can see from my post (sphere of influence) and what I learn about through the Spirit and from you. Keep an eye out for resources, a newsletter, and other content to help us pray and intercede for this world together.
If you are ready to keep watch, meet me on the Lookout. Get ready to build and revisit some altars, call down rain from heaven, destroy the plans and works of the enemy, empower the church, and advocate for those in need.
Father, we are here on the lookout, standing in the gap in obedience to you. Bless us with eyes to see, ears to hear, and a voice to call out to You and for You. In the mighty name of Jesus with all honor to our God Almighty [El Shadday], we accept the Power you have placed in us and thank you for this calling and your finishing. So be it [Amen]!

Speak up and call out
P.S. One word of warning, I am a wild woman: empowered, inspired, and confident that the Word we speak will do what He says. If God has called you appointed, anointed, or approved too, then I fully expect together we will see mountains move.
Let's work!
