Day 68 of 100

The weapons we use are not human ones. Our weapons have power from God and can destroy the enemy’s strong places. We destroy people’s arguments, and we tear down every proud idea that raises itself against the knowledge of God. We also capture every thought and make it give up and obey Christ. – 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 (ERV)

Mighty God, Wonderful Counselor, Prince of Peace, we come lifting our siblings in Christ who are wrestling, wounded, wearied, and wrecked by the battle in and for their minds.


Savior, we ask for a rescue! We come boldly before the throne of grace seeking your help in our time of need. Our minds, emotions, spirits, and bodies are weakened and exhausted, some of us are losing faith, growing more and more confused, losing ourselves, sight of our purpose, and confidence in your lovingkindness. Please dispatch your peace so we may rest in you and your finished work on the cross. Please surround us with your love and protection. Please heal us of the physical manifestations of the stress and battles waging in our minds and all around us. Please show up and speak directly to our minds and spirits and align them with the truth of your perfect saving grace, that heals, redeems, satisfies, and seats us at the place of honor at your table as your beloved children.


Help us see you in new and amazing ways. Help us understand your sacrifice, your love, your promises, your plans for us. Help us see ourselves as you see us, loved, blessed, favored, protected, perfected, honored, powerful, chosen! Please guide our hearts and minds back to you. Please right size our faith and right our thinking. Please turn the Word we have received into fresh manna that nourishes, awakens, connects us completely, permanently, and deeply to you.


Please gift us confidence in you, understanding of your grace, strength, new sight, increased faith, excitement, and a fresh right spirit. Please meet us right now wherever we are and win the battle for our minds. Please tear down every wall that blocks, obscures, or delays us from accessing right thinking about you, ourselves, your kingdom, and the enemy’s efforts against us. Please send breakthroughs for your children! Please secure our minds and hearts in you and give us the victory in this battle for our minds!


Thank you, kind and generous Father, for loving us so perfectly. Thank you for Christ, who died so we can live freely as your children - healthy, whole, well able, at peace, protected, permanently promoted, and covered in your glorious grace. Thank you for soothing our souls and eliminating our anxieties. Thank you for rescuing our minds from the enemy's traps and our lives from the enemy's plans. Thank you that our minds and souls are fully restored and anchored in you. Thank you for gifting us with a permanent irrevocable seat at your table, where you bless us and fill our cups to overflowing in the midst of the trouble that tries to take us down. Thank you for revealing the truth of your grace, so we may understand it, cling to it and live a victorious liberated life every single day.


In the name of the author and finisher of our faith, we declare that we are free, justified, sanctified, healed, clear, perfectly loved, highly favored, well taken care of, and that the Lord has won for us both the battle of our minds and the war against the enemy. Victory and liberty are ours right now. We believe it and receive it and will live it in faith every day!


So, what do you think? With God on our side like this, how can we lose? If God didn’t hesitate to put everything on the line for us, embracing our condition and exposing himself to the worst by sending his own Son, is there anything else he wouldn’t gladly and freely do for us? And who would dare tangle with God by messing with one of God’s chosen? Who would dare even to point a finger? The One who died for us—who was raised to life for us!—is in the presence of God at this very moment sticking up for us. Do you think anyone is going to be able to drive a wedge between us and Christ’s love for us? There is no way! Not trouble, not hard times, not hatred, not hunger, not homelessness, not bullying threats, not backstabbing, not even the worst sins listed in Scripture. – Romans 8:31-35 (MSG)
