100 Days of Prayer

Day 40 of 100

Lord, we come praying Paul’s encouraging counsel over your children and believers. We seek your strength and divine prompting to increase our faith and understanding of you. We stand on the lookout for an increased measure of faith, knowledge of our identity in you, your will for us and your faithfulness and promises. We seek to know and live your love!

As we read the word, we ask for sight of the mysteries of Christ.

We know and thank you for your Spirit who makes clear these mysteries, even for those who have never heard of Jesus. Your spirit and your word allow us all to come to you on the same ground before God. We get the same offer, same help, and same promises as heirs with Christ Jesus. Thank you that your Message is accessible and welcoming to everyone, across the board!

Make our lives’ work helping people understand and respond to your voice and wondrous message. Please gift us your spirit and make your grace empower us to be fully equipped to boldly testify of your unearned favor, undeserved mercy, and the truth of the rich generosity of Christ. Thank you for uniting us with you through the blood of Jesus. Please use us, like you did with Paul, the early churches, and generations of believers, to reveal clearly the plans and character of God.

Please keep us walking in your purpose. A purpose settled long ago! Please help us trust your purpose. Help us to know when we trust in you, we’re free to say what needs to be said, emboldened to go wherever we need to go. Please give us confidence in your faithfulness, so we may always be proud and grateful for the people who are acting in obedience to you.

We thank you Father!

Please strengthen us by your spirit with a glorious inner strength, so that Christ will live in us as we open the door and invite him in.

We ask that with both feet planted firmly on love, we’ll be able to take in with all followers of Jesus the extravagant dimensions of Christ’s love. Reach out and experience the breadth! Test its length! Plumb the depths! Rise to the heights! Live full lives, full in the fullness of God.

We ask that we never doubt your mighty power to work in us and accomplish these things. We praise you and declare that you will achieve for us infinitely more than our greatest request, our most unbelievable dream, and will exceed our wildest imagination through your miraculous power constantly energizing us. We offer up all the glorious praise that rises from every church in every generation through Jesus Christ, and give you all praise that will manifest through time and eternity!
