Day 26 of 100

But what happens when we live God’s way? He brings gifts into our lives, much the same way that fruit appears in an orchard—things like affection for others, exuberance about life, serenity. We develop a willingness to stick with things, a sense of compassion in the heart, and a conviction that a basic holiness permeates things and people. We find ourselves involved in loyal commitments, not needing to force our way in life, able to marshal and direct our energies wisely. – Galatians 5:22-23 (MSG)

Father, we lift all believers up to you - the new and old, wise and unsure, those producing fruit and those learning how to work in your orchard. We lift up their lives so that they may meet and embrace your purpose for them.

Lord, we come seeking the power, advantages, and fallout of the Holy Spirit whom you left for us. We ask that you bless us, your believers, to be filled with the Spirit, and for the Spirit to fill our lives with the outcomes and rewards of His presence within us.

Father, we ask that your Spirit produces in us:

joy that overflows,

peace that subdues,

patience that endures,

kindness in action,

a life full of virtue,

faith that prevails,

gentleness of heart, and

strength of spirit.

We ask that you bless the lives of believers, so we may bless this world with the image of Jesus and fruit of heaven. Please make us ready to receive your Spirit, hear your Spirit, and move on its command. Please make us aware of the Spirit and hungry for its presence and work within us. Please join with us as we seek your Spirit and embrace the Spirit as it meets us on our journeys. Please give us grace to follow the Spirit and stay committed to the path you set before us. Please lavish on us daily the rewards of a life well lived with you and in the flow of your Spirit.

We thank you for these gifts and for knowing just what we need to thrive on this earth and reflect your light in the darkness around us. We thank you for your grace which carries us and allows us to see, hear, know, and respond to your Spirit. We thank you for the blessings that come with the Spirit and for the Spirit’s willingness to seek us out and call us back to you and all the blessings you have for us. We thank you for your believers, for the lives they are living well because of the presence and action of the Spirit. We thank you for the obedience of believers and the joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control they have and they cultivate in the world. We declare believers are a blessed people – blessed with the gifts of the Spirit, blessed to know and live the gifts, and blessed to be a blessing sharing these gifts with others.

In the powerful name of Jesus, who lovingly left us with a helper who knew the gifts and strengths we would need, we claim them active and available in the lives of all believers today and everyday, it is so!

Since these virtues are already planted deep within, and you possess them in abundant supply, they will keep you from being inactive or fruitless in your pursuit of knowing Jesus Christ more intimately. – 2 Peter 1:5-8 (TPT)
