Day 10 of 100

Work hard and cheerfully at all you do, just as though you were working for the Lord and not merely for your masters, remembering that it is the Lord Christ who is going to pay you, giving you your full portion of all he owns. He is the one you are really working for. – Colossians 3:23-24 (TLB)

Jehova Jireh, Lord Our Provider, we lift up the people of this earth who work and still need sustenance, who grind and remain in lack, who press and have not seen fruit, who keep going and fall behind, who try and have not seen good success. We lift up the employed, unemployed, underemployed, and those seeking your vision and purpose for their hands.

Father, please see us as we work. Remember us as we toil. Establish fairness and fruitfulness in our lives and efforts. Keep us from the sin of striving for more without you with us. Please go before us and cause our way to be smooth and our employers to be fair and honest. Please bless us with God-sized resources outpacing the labor we can do in the natural. Please break curses that keep us enslaved, bound, uncertain, and unable. Please gift us divine escape from labor that tortures, maims, indebts, kills, and takes advantage. We ask for justice in our labor, opportunity in our plights and within our sights, and wisdom and favor in our income. We ask for governments, systems, cultures, communities, businesses, leaders, peers, colleagues, laws, and policies in tune with your will for your people, and that seek to support, better, and help us live well, without abuse, greed, theft, or supremacy, and where integrity, respect, justice, truth, peace, and courage prevail. We ask for education, inspiration, and work suitable to our unique hands and circumstances, and financial resources to thrive. Please give us health, strength, courage, hope, discernment, wisdom, and the mind of Christ in our efforts to seek and continue with the labor you have set aside for us today. Please gift us increase, grace upon grace, blessings indeed, and good success in our right nows and our tomorrows. Please show us how you work as you teach us how to work.

Thank you for making us well able to work. Thank you for your lovingkindness which spreads and corrects and influences and endures. Thank you for your grace that works everything for the good of those who love you and are called to your purposes. Thank you for teaching us love, drawing us into you with each success and each hardship. Thank you for going before us to make us strong and ready and for blessing our every step. Thank you for being justice and bringing justice to our situations, our paychecks, our businesses, our leadership, our systems, our communities, our efforts, and our lives. Thank you, Provider, that your face is towards us, and you are blessing us with excellent stewardship and perseverance for the good success you plan for us. Thank you for the open heaven that offers opportunity, freedom, hope, favor, and ultimately your best plans for our greatest good.

In the name of the God who Provides and is always present, let it be and it is so!

I know your works. Look! I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it. For you have a little strength, and have kept My word, and have not denied My name. – Revelation 3:8 (MEV)
